that (fill in name of team) crowd will really git after ya

Meaning: in team sports, a phrase used to compliment an upcoming opponent who is clearly overmatched and has little to no chance of winning the game; this phrase is used when said team is so terrible that nothing positive or complimentary can be said about them

Reporter: How do you keep your players focused when you're about to play a team that appears to not have the tools to beat you?
Coach: Now lemme tell ya somethin', that Duke crowd will really git after ya. They have 85 scholarship players just like we do. We better come prepared to give maximum effort, 'cause them boys is gon' show up ready to play.
